per personal workspace for a controlled print campaign
Track QR code activity from postcards, flyers, and print campaigns.
Create one editable managed QR link for each campaign variant you need to compare. Keep the destination flexible after printing, preserve the campaign record, and report aggregate redirect activity without pretending every scan is a person or conversion.
- Editable destinations
- Campaign and placement fields
- 30-day aggregate reporting
- CSV exports
not unique recipients, leads, purchases, or revenue
without changing the managed URL encoded in the QR
Give each decision you want to make its own managed link.
The useful unit is not necessarily every mailed address. It is the campaign variable you can act on afterward.
Creative
Use separate links for postcard A and B when the result will determine which design you print next.
Offer or call to action
Separate consultation, discount, review, event, or download destinations when you need to compare response interest.
Wave, placement, or territory
Assign a campaign identifier to a mailing wave, flyer batch, event, or known distribution area—without claiming GPS tracking.
A QR redirect is one step in the direct-mail measurement chain.
Was the link opened?
The beta records coarse daily activity for each active managed link.
How should the visit be classified?
Consistent campaign tags can help your installed website analytics recognize the print source.
Did the visitor convert?
Forms, bookings, purchases, calls, and qualified leads require separate destination-side measurement.
From campaign matrix to tested print asset.
Choose meaningful variants
Create a separate managed link for each postcard design, offer, mailing wave, flyer placement, or territory you need to compare.
Name the source clearly
Use consistent campaign and UTM values, then record placement type, asset owner, launch date, end date, and deployment status.
Generate and test the QR
Download the managed QR PNG, place it in the final artwork, and test the exported proof at its actual printed size before production.
Compare and preserve
Review rolling aggregate activity, update safe destinations when needed, and export both the redirect inventory and campaign report.
Test the final artifact—not only the dashboard preview.
The current beta provides a PNG, not a complete print-production approval system.
- Confirm the visible call to action explains what happens after scanning.
- Keep clear space around the QR code and use strong foreground/background contrast.
- Test the final exported artwork at its actual physical size.
- Scan the physical proof on current iOS and Android devices in realistic lighting.
- Confirm the managed URL, destination, UTM values, and campaign record before approving production.
- Keep the redirect inventory export with the print job and campaign owner.
Use the same operating model across physical media.
Postcards and letters
Compare creative, offer, audience segment, territory, or mailing wave with one managed campaign link per meaningful variant.
Flyers and door hangers
Identify the distribution batch or neighborhood in campaign metadata without collecting a scanner's precise location.
Catalogs and inserts
Keep a printed code useful when a product page, seasonal collection, or campaign landing page changes.
Leave-behinds and handouts
Record which field owner or event placement received an asset and whether it was delivered, placed, or verified.
Campaign-level reporting without person-level surveillance.
Controlled print campaigns
Managed links, atomic CSV import, editable safe destinations, campaign and placement metadata, PNG QR downloads, search, rolling aggregate counts, and spreadsheet-safe reporting and recovery exports.
Individual or revenue attribution
No per-address QR generation, mailing fulfillment, recipient identity, GPS tracking, unique-person counts, form conversion tracking, revenue attribution, SVG export, custom domains, or automated print approval.
Questions about QR code tracking for print
How does QR code tracking work for direct mail?
A managed QR contains a short redirect URL associated with campaign metadata. When someone opens an active URL, the private beta increments a daily aggregate for that managed link before redirecting to the current safe destination.
Should every recipient receive a unique QR code?
Not in this beta. The current product is designed for a controlled set of campaign, creative, placement, location, or territory variants, with a 25-link workspace limit. It does not identify individual recipients or addresses.
Can I change the landing page after printing?
Yes for a managed QR code. Its destination can be updated without changing the encoded managed URL. A free static QR code directly encodes its destination and cannot be changed after printing.
Does a redirect count equal a conversion?
No. A redirect shows that the managed URL was opened. A purchase, booking, form submission, or qualified lead must be measured by the destination website, form, CRM, or another appropriate system.
Can I compare postcard or flyer versions?
Yes, if each version uses a distinct managed link with consistent campaign metadata. The rolling report can compare aggregate activity by link and campaign, and the report can be exported to CSV.
Are QR scans unique people?
No. Counts are redirect events, not verified people. Automated crawlers are excluded where recognized, but repeat opens and shared URLs can still affect totals.
What file format can I download?
The current private beta downloads a 1000-pixel PNG. SVG and additional print controls remain planned, so confirm resolution and production requirements with your printer before ordering a large run.
Build the tracking matrix before the mail goes to print.
Start with up to 25 meaningful campaign variants and retain your redirect exports.
